Kraft Heinz steps in to help the smallest small-business owners

The smallest of small-business owners aren’t eligible for PPP loans even though they’re getting squeezed by Covid-19 restrictions.

That’s why Kraft Heinz drink mix brand Country Time is launching what it calls “The Littlest Bailout Relief Fund” to help lemonade stand proprietors who face some of the same economic repercussions of Covid-19 as the big guys: decreased foot traffic, social distancing guidelines and concerns about increased sanitation.

The Country Time Bailout Relief Fund will send $100 “stimulus checks” to help kids “preserve the values of lemonade stands, honest work and entrepreneurship, while putting a little juice back into the economy,” the company said in a news release.
